IMF review of Argentina deal complete- gov't

The Argentine government has said that the IMF has completed the delayed first review of Argentina's $12.55 billion loan accord.

Argentine Cabinet Chief Alberto Fernandez said "Koehler called President Kirchner and said he was certain that the Fund was satisfied with Argentina's compliance with the agreed objectives".

In Washington, Koehler said he would shortly recommend to the IMF's executive board the completion of the review at a meeting later this month.
