BMA to be replaced by central bank

Bahrain has issued a law setting up a central bank, which replaces the Bahrain Monetary Agency, Trade Arabia reported Thursday 7 September.

The central bank will co-ordinate with the finance ministry and other relevant government bodies, and continue the policies of the BMA, according to the Bahrain News Agency.
