Sunil Mendis appointed governor in Sri Lanka
Sunil Mendis was appointed by Her Excellency the President as Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka from July 1, 2004, for a term of six years. As Governor, he is Chairman of the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The other members of the five member Monetary Board are the Secretary to the Treasury Dr. P.B
