Bank of England appoints Head of Internal Audit

The Bank of England announced on Thursday 5 May that Stephen Brown has been appointed Head of Internal Audit with effect from 4 July.

The position reports jointly to the Governor and to the Audit Committee of the Court of Directors.

Stephen has over sixteen years' experience in financial sector internal audit, gained in both the United Kingdom and the United States, at the First National Bank of Chicago, Bank One and most recently JPMorgan Chase. He has held a variety of senior internal audit
