China to stick to reserves policy - PBOC's Zhou

People's Bank of China governor, Zhou Xiaochuan, said Friday 10 November that the country has no plans to change its foreign reserves policy.

Speaking on the sidelines of a conference hosted by the European Central Bank, said, "We stick to the existing policy."

He added that the Chinese central bank had experienced "many years of diversification policy."

"We are considering lots of instruments (for diversification)," said Zhou, when asked whether China planned to shift its reserve portfolio away
