Washington: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency announced on September 12 that it has made Yue Chen its chief climate risk officer.

Chen succeeds Jonathan Fink, also the agency’s associate chief counsel, who had held the role in an interim capacity.

She will report directly to Michael Hsu, acting comptroller of the currency. Hsu says Chen “is an asset to an already strong and dedicated team of OCC staff focused on the safety and soundness of our banks and the financial system”.
