Netherlands Bank executive director discusses work towards financial inclusion index

The Netherlands Bank will present a proposal for building a financial inclusion index in every country later this week, executive director Frank Elderson said today (October 7), as he stressed the value of greater inclusion.

Elderson said the creation of these indexes would make comparisons between countries easier, while "still leaving room for each country to take on board certain country-specific factors".
