FX working group grappling with enforcement, says Debelle
Chair says 'adherence is our biggest challenge'
Enforcing adherence will be the hardest part of work on a global code of conduct for foreign exchange markets, project head Guy Debelle told a briefing at the Bank of England today (September 9).
Debelle, who is an assistant governor at the Reserve Bank of Australia and is leading work on the code through his position as chair of the Bank for International Settlements's Markets Committee, said "adherence is our biggest challenge".
That challenge falls to Chris Salmon, the Bank of England's (BoE)
