Email and social media still top two-way comms channels

Only teams from Asia-Pacific central banks report use of live website chat

Most communication teams use emails and social media as the primary tools for two-way interaction with the public, the Communications Benchmarks 2024 find.

The section received 34 responses from participants. Of these, 30 (88.2%) say they use email. Just over three-fourths (76.5%) say they use social media. Telephone (73.5%) and town hall meetings (35.3%) are also relatively popular two-way channels among respondents.
