Central bank websites vary greatly in popularity

Some get hundreds of page views per month, while others get millions

There is wide variation in the amount of traffic that central bank websites attract. Of the 30 banks that provided data to the Communications Benchmarks 2022, nine reported a monthly average of between 1 and 10 million page views in 2021. Three others reported fewer than 500.

At one extreme, a small American central bank measured only 150 views, and two African contributors reported 437 and 220 views, respectively.

At the other end of the spectrum, nine (30%) reported more than 1 million page
