Central banks offer wide range of comms training courses

Many train communications staff in areas such as writing, public speaking and social media

Almost all central banks offer training to staff in their communications departments, particularly in areas such as writing, public speaking and use of social media.

Among benchmark respondents, 91% said they offer training to communications staff. Only three central banks said they did not offer training. One commented that training is organised by the HR team rather than conducted internally in the comms teams.

As well as offering training to their own staff, a handful of respondents
